I have been looking forward to featuring these pants on the blog from the moment I got them from Serinda Fashions, one year ago.

Palazzo pants are a fun wardrobe staple as they’re stylish, comfortable, and above all versatile. They were very super popular back in the ’60s and ’70s and just like any other trend they have made a comeback.

They can be taken from the office to the streets and everywhere in between. With their super wide-leg and flowy nature, they sure add a different spice to any outfit. They also give you something different to play around with taking a break from the skin-tight jeans.

Palazzo pants are a little tricky to wear, but with the right styling, they can be very chic and elegant.

To best pull of this trend, here are a few styling tips

  1. Colorful printed palazzo pants go well with tops in a plain and solid color or the other way round.
  2. Since they flare out at the bottom, keep the top light and well-fitting and/or tuck in the top/shirt.
  3. Add a belt to help define your waist.
  4. They are best paired with crop tops.
  5. Wear them with heels as they elongate your figure.
  6. Pick the pants in a light fabric and color.
  7. Accessorize in a subtle way. The pants are the statement of the whole outfit.

                    Lastly, remember, confidence is Key.

Thank you for joining me .You really are the best!xoxo

My thoughts on the book

This novel had me hooked from page one. It was so engrossing I read it in the space of one week. Set in a lot of suspense, it makes you want to keep reading because you want to figure out the secrets. It contains natural and flowing humor even from the descriptions. It is a fascinating book as it gives an insight into a polygamous household.

HOW TO STYLE CONVERSE III

Hey hey darlings,

Welcome to this space of mine. If you are new here, allow me to bring you up to speed. For the last few posts, here and here, I have been sharing ways on how to style the converse sneakers.

For today’s post I’m styling this dress which needs no introduction at all. My Instagram family must have seen it pop over there several times.

This makes for a perfect outfit for the weekend or even for running errands.

Much love, Keep on passing by

The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process is its own reward.

HOW TO STYLE CONVERSE II

HOW TO STYLE CONVERSE II

The last couple of days have been absolutely crazy as elections dominated the news and conversations.

The long road towards elections has finally ended. There are mixed reactions all over as some people are feeling either elated (because their candidate won) or disappointed (because their candidate lost).

All done and dusted, my hope is that all those who have assumed power create a difference.

Anyway that aside, let’s get back to the swing of things. Here’s the second post on how to style the converse sneakers.

Not only do converse make outfits look trendy, but they are super-duper comfortable as well.

The first styling post went here.

“No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”
